Three Great Tastes That Taste Great Together

Every so often, you have some combination of foods that just seems perfectly complementary. The combination doesn't really qualify as a recipe, as it's more the side-by-side serving of multiple recipes...and it's usually too simple to be called a recipe, anyway. Tonight, I had an old favorite combination, and discovered a new one. Click "Read More" to find out what they are.
The old favorite combination? Romaine lettuce, Hickory Smoked Tofu, Roma Tomatoes, Pepitas (Pumpkin Seeds from Trader Joe's) and some creamy dressing, such as Ranch.
The new favorite? Boca Bratwursts, Steinfeld's Sauerkraut, and Plochman's stone ground mustard. I think the key is that Plochman's isn't overpoweringly mustardy, is kind of sour (lots of vinegar), and is creamy enough to stick well to the brat.
(If you're curious, dessert was a cup of Trader Joe's Coffee Soy-Ummm soy drink. Not complementary to the meal, but delicious in its own right.)
