Well Pepsi didn't make anyone a
billionaire but ABC will try to unload 10 million on someone in the super sized version of their 2002 hit Who Wants to be a Millionaire? when it comes back for a limited run. The new version will feature more lifelines and apparently the stakes will be multiplied by 10, starting at 1000 bucks instead of 100 and finishing at 10 million instead of 1. Hard for me to believe the network could have put all of their eggs into the millionaire basket, only to have them broken. They claim that regardless of the ratings they will not make a similar mistake. With over 29 million people tuning in to watch American Idol 3 auditions, I wouldn't be surprised to see 35 million watching the debut.
