Babies whose mothers were strict vegans suffered neurological damage due to B-12 deficiencies, a study says. While that's possibly true, it neglects to study the negative consequences of pesticide-ridden veggies and hormonally-altered animals. (In the case of the former, it's led to an increase in premature births and abnormally high estrogen levels...) Ultimately, it comes down to this: take care of yourself. Use your head. And don't make sweeping changes based on propaganda from someone who doesn't even know what a vegetarian is (see the end of the article.)
