I have to say, with ABC carting out a new reality show every 5 minutes, I actually forgot that Survivor debuted. I missed the beginning of episode 1, but saw enough to watch the dudes bicker like a bunch of old women. I was glad to see Ryan Aiken get canned though. The second episode was a little troubling ... Janet Hoth eventually was voted out, but I found it pretty funny that the reason was identical to that of Kal's elimination in Survivor 2 (that'd be the Outback, Australia). A granola bar was found, Janet was thought to have smuggled it in, and she was ousted as a result. Jerry Manthey lied about Kal chewing on beef jerky (it was a blade of grass) to get him kicked out. Is Mark Burnett staging this whole thing? I'm done for now, I can't get into conspiracy theories. If you've got a good one on this, post a comment to this story.
