Drew Daniel is Big Brother 5 winner by 4-3 vote over Michael Ellis

EntertainmentSo much for save a horse ride a cowboy. When it came down to the final votes all went pretty much according to plan for pretty boy Drew. Will thinks he is just dreamy so he had to vote for him. Marvin couldn't justify not throwing a vote to a guy who had taken home 4 HOH titles when the maximum you can possibly win in 7. Diane hopes to have a relationship with him outside the house, and who wouldn't want a rich boyfriend? Karen is a psycho, but she hates Cowboy. That left the twins as his main supporters and they weren't going to sway anyone in the jury house. His half sister Nakomis the freak did break down and vote for him, probably hoping he would give her some cash if he won. Overall it was a pretty good season and hopefully we'll get an All-stars edition going pretty soon. Here's how we got here... No this isn't the Young and the Restless, but Big Brother 5 has a cast of 13 with six women who are 30 or under and of the seven men only two are over 30, those being 36 and 41. One of the men is Scott Long, who has bared it all for Playgirl.

They also have a brother and sister who coming in had no idea they were related. They share a father who apparently told his daughter Jennifer that she had no other siblings. Early on Holly revealed her last name as King and when Jennifer announced her last name Michael's ears perked up. He soon realized that they shared the same father, but has yet to reveal this information to her.

What I'm looking forward to is seeing people from places like South Carolina, Michigan, Oklahoma, Ohio and Mississippi, states which aren't regularly represented by reality TV. It gets a little boring watching all people from New York, Chicago and Los Angeles doesn't it? This season features people from 13 different states.

Other twists this year will be eavesdropping from the Head of Household room, cement beds (with a slim padding) and something is up with the power of veto.

Already Lori has walked into $10,000 by grabbing the lobster tail ball in the food game, at the expense of forcing everyone to eat the dreaded PB&J all week. Also, Drew, Jase, Michael and Scott are dubbing their alliance the "knights of the round table" or the "Four Horsemen". With Jase taking the first Head of Household they are off to a good start.

Mike Lubinski is first evicted from Big Brother 5, Adria Okins is playing with her twin Natalie
Authored by: norcalfella on Friday, July 16 2004

Dubbed "The Don" by others in the house, Mike Lubinski was viewed as an immediate threat by just about everyone and was sent packing by a unanimous vote while Jennifer Dedmon breathed a sigh of relief. HOH Jase Wirey, one of the "Four Horsemen" put him up after Mike was going around the house trying to form alliances and telling everyone who would listen that Jase and Scott Long had to be broken up.

The veto game has a great twist this year as only the two people nominated, HOH and a player that each chooses to play along with them can participate. Jase and his choice Scott wound up the last two standing with Scott winning. After thinking about saving Mike with the caveat that he not nominate them, the group decided not to use the veto.

Meanwhile, the girls: Diane Henry, Holly King, Adria Okins, Karen O'Neil Ganci and Lori Valenti have already ganged up to go against the men. They think they have the only other girl of the house Jennifer Dedmon, but with her half brother Micahel Hellis part of the 4H her loyalty sways back and forth. Will Wikle, who is gay, had started off going with the women, but this week revealed their budding alliance to the 4H so it remains to be seen what he does.

Marvin Latimer has won the HOH this week and would be ensuring a finish out of the top 5 if he nominates members of the 4H. More likely he will target a pair of women, perhaps Adria Okins. If she is evicted, another major twist will be exposed. Since Adria came into the house she has been swapping places with her twin sister Natalie and both have been playing the game. If they can keep it a secret and of course avoid eviction until the midway point of the game then Natalie will be allowed to join the house and both will play the game as individuals.

This is shaping up to be a great season and I'm certain that more power struggles and twists wait around the corner. At least two other players in the house (4H member Drew Daniel and Diana Henry) also have twins. Could their twins come into play at some point?
