I'll fess up, I voted 60 or 70 times for Clay Aiken when he was up for the finals. I’d like to think I helped push him at least to the #3 position, and hopefully aid his wild card selection. Now, he needs more help to get into the finals, which is mysteriously now 12 people instead of 10. Anyone else notice the subtle switch? I have my thoughts on the rationale … First, Kimberly Caldwell was Fox’s darling even before the first episode aired. They want her to move on, and had featured her from the start. She was beat out by her “rival” Julia Demato and took third place in her group, but if she doesn’t get one of the four spots I’ll go into shock. Aliceyn Cooney, Carmen Rasmusen Olivia Mojica and Janine Falsone were all invited back after being left out of the final 32. That was an interesting twist to say the least. Actually, I like it because in the first season they only got to hand pick one person. This way they can hand pick two, and then hope America bails them out by selecting talent over personality.

Trenyce I give very little chance of moving on, and the same goes for Nasheka Siddall. They don’t stand out all that much to me. Chip Days has had, well, days and days to get a pulse. If he can just smile and relax a little bit he will surely move on. They clearly want him in the final group. Clay Aiken I hope gets through because he has a great voice and has done a good job of altering his image from outright dork to dork in disguise.

Prediction? Aiken, Caldwell, Days and one of the girls who was brought back to shine. Hard to say which one, although it could be two if your vote doesn't push Aiken in!
