A 1992 article that claims the Wackenhut corp. is actually the "shadow CIA", a private security service that provides intelligence for the government. It also suggests that Wackenhut helped supply chemical and nuclear weapons-producing material to Iraq. Here's my problem with this. In all of these "investigative" stories, the writers reveal a picture of unbeleivable deception. There are thousands of employees at Wackenhut. The number of people involved make operations security pretty much impossible, unless you have the authority to perform assassinations. And if you have that authority/permission, wouldn't you use it to prevent articles like these?
