Janeane Garofalo show 'under fire'

Entertainment"We do not wish to see the faces of liberal Hollywood, particularly those that provided aid and comfort to Saddam Hussein," protester Jon Alvarez e-mailed ABC, according to the column.

Whether you believe her or not, it's a stretch to say that questioning the war is tantamount to aiding the enemy. By contrast, By contrast, Dennis Miller was very pro-war with Iraq. Does that make him the uberpatriot, babaganoush?

"It's strange when people refer to me as a Hollywood activist because I don't live there and I don't participate in it," she says. "Have you ever seen me at the Oscars? Have you ever seen me in a gown? Have you ever seen me in a limo?"

And echoing my own statements: "There's nothing you could point to in the Bush Administration with pride," she says. "Nothing. There is no way any rational, reasonable person can say that the Bush Administration has been good for America."
