Here we go 'round, the mullberry Bush

BusinessOVER the past year, foreigners have taken $214 billion worth of their assets out of the United States.

See, here's the funny thing. Conservatives say we should vote with our wallets when celebrities say things we don't like. And they say we shouldn't "let the UN or other nations determine our foreign policy". While I certianly agree with the the latter statement, I do think there's a role for diplomatic relations instead of brazen arrogance. The result of brazen arrogance is that foreign countries vote with their wallets. Then again, I guess it's unpatriotic of me to bring that up.

Ummm. Isn\'t the practice of concerning oneself with performign actions that are against the moral fabric of said entity for financial gain called prostitution? Let the foreigners go spend their money elsewhere. If we have to kowtow to the world becasue of their dollars (or lack thereof), then we aren\'t the superpower we thought we are, huh?

So, yes, as a true capitalist and conservative, I agree, it is their right to disagree with us by removing dollars. Well, we are doing the same thing to France, as are the Brits, so maybe this will all come around some other way.

Can\'t find a positive in all of this, can you? Dollars to doughnuts we are getting investments from countries who count on our strength that were not accounted for in this drivel.
