Thank you America, for doing what should have been done weeks ago. Kimberly Caldwell has had her entire life to get her act together and has performed on many stages. My question is why she still isn’t very good. Yeah, I’ve got more to say and I’ve been right on the nose thus far so keep reading. I was right about the bottom 2 being the blondies, but my better half (that’d be norcaldoll) had better grim reaper instincts again by calling KC’s number instead of Carmen’s. Reality is that Carmen simply has more fans at this juncture because it was hard to watch her sing “And So It Goes” last night. Yeah, the voting public hasn’t quite forgotten Trenyce’s mug shot so even her decent showing kept her in the bottom 3. Next week it will be even more difficult for her because all of the “let’s vote for that little blonde girl” people will flood their votes to Carmen (now that KC is gone) unless she bombs again. That leaves a splinter of votes between Kimberley Locke and Trenyce as the remaining girls.

The other part of that equation is that now we’re at the point where one of the guys will finally hit the bottom 3 wake up call. Won’t be Ruben, and it certainly won’t be Clay. That leaves Joshua Gracin, and sorry fella but the war is over and you need a big time performance to stay out of the bottom group. I hate to ruin it for all you people at there who don’t know what’s going to happen, but this week I’m banking on the girl who has the most uneven performance between Kimberley Locke and Trenyce to bite the dust. That is unless Carmen bombs again or Joshua refuses to just relish his country charm. I’m done for now.
