Andrew Firestone Bachelor feeds a vegetarian lamb, then narrows field to six eligible ladies

EntertainmentI’ve been watching the show, but mostly holding my comments to myself until now. It still surprises me what women will do for a guy they’ve just met. The latest example is Liz, the marketing director from Chicago. She is already in love with Andrew Firestone, and reminded me of Sally Field at the Oscars when asking him “Do you like me?” During a group date, Andrew offered her a piece of lamb, and she ate it even though she is a vegetarian. Amazing is all I can say, and even being a desperate, trash talking, annoying psycho she still got Andrew to select a girl he describes as “bubbly”. Now we know who is first to get the axe at the next rose ceremony. This week’s show mostly focused on Amber, the account executive from Atlanta. It is not hard to spot her out as an immature ditz. When his friend Kevin and former girlfriend Shannon chose her for the ice skating individual date, Amber felt she had a vibe with Andrew. He saw it a little differently, comparing it to be in a dentist’s chair. When she didn’t make the cut she gave him the cold shoulder, but she saw it coming and ate every appetizer in sight prior to the rose ceremony, joking that she’d be the “fat one” at the reunion show. Nice follow up to her drunken stupor from last week.

Kirsten Buschbacher got the other individual date, which was a staged game of pool wherein Andrew let her win and gave her a dress and loaned jewelry. They tasted wine on a chartered yacht and he seemed far more comfortable with her than the other girls. He wasn’t thrown off by her mention of a Vegas wedding and they locked lips in the limo on the way back. Not even all nine other girls talking trash about her could keep him from handing her a rose.

Ann-Michelle got very little screen time, but Andrew called her “sincere” and said her “stock was rising”. Next thing you know, he’s handing her a rose. Cristina, the “older” girl from New Jersey put it all out there with the belly dancing at the Moroccan restaurant group date. I mean that literally, her boobs were about to pop out of her top. I thought Andrew might be turned away by her trying to rat out Kirsten for allegedly being dropped off at the airport by her current boyfriend, but he called her “more mature” than the other girls and I guess he wants some hot tub time with her before he cuts her loose.

Back to girls who fall fast we have Tina, an event planner from Nashville. She’s not attractive and was clearly viewed as a friend by Andrew, who pumped her for information about Kirsten during their alone time during the group date. Miss clueless couldn’t figure it out that he wasn’t attracted to her, and when she was not give a rose cried to the camera “He broke my heart!” What? Excuse me? Now I know why country songs are so damn depressing. This girl is lost.

Audree is a Vegas hair stylist and is Mormon. Since when do those things go together? She wanted Andrew to “see past our differences” but I don’t think working the winery goes with a gal who doesn’t drink, so she got the axe. Heather, who I barely saw on screen this week also went home.

Tina Fabulous, as she has been dubbed, is the front runner from Wisconsin. She throws a football in stiletto heels, shows up to interviews with a gaudy scarf and plays hard to get. Andrew eats it up, but she’s just playing this like a game show. I think I covered all the girls, so I’m done for now, but I should end by mentioning that Andrew Firestone signed bottles of wine at the Danville Andronico's Market, paying a visit to the town I grew up in. If you don't know which state, you're clueless.

Andrews reaction towards Liz
Authored by: Anonymous on Wednesday, April 23 2003

From the very beginning Andrews reaction towards Liz was normal just going along with the game to be fair for the other womens sake. But, when he had to narrow it down to 10 women he saw & felt something in Liz like a connection of love. That was meant to stay for another round & let it prove its reason. That\'s why Andrew called Liz almost towards thee end. That made Liz stop her worries & believed more in what she felt for him.

Liz accept the rose with happy watery eyes from him & that lead them to eye contact. After, that Rose Ceremony Liz treated the other women & Andrew fairly. When Amber went on the date with Andrew she didn\'t open up the way he expect. He was mostly doing the talking & there was mostly silence.
She said, she open up to him & felt a vibe.

No offense she\'s responsibile taking relationship a step at a time, but Andrew & I bet thee audience could see there wasn\'t any of what she said.Christina
feeding Andrew & letting him see her moves up close she\'s proving herself to him. But, when Andrew feed Liz, she was honored for that moment, & then admits she a vegetarian. There was eye contact & vibe between them. That made Christina & Michelle jealous of Liz.

That very much prove themselves & Andrew giving Liz another secretly approval. When Liz went on that time alone she wanted from Andrew she open up more, there was agreement that wasn\'t force...
Christina having a time alone with Andrew, but didn\'t open up clearly that would lit his eyes & fill joy in responding to her company. There was seriousness, but they kissed & she was putting her hands on him. Like as if she forced him & don\'t want him to let go.
sorry got to go,but I vote fo Liz
