Uh-oh Ruben

EntertainmentThe Drudge Report suggests that Ruben's victory over Clay Aiken may have been rigged. At the very least, they call into question the vote tallying---its authenticity, fairness, accuracy, etc.

I, for one, don't think it matters. They'll both get recording contracts, folks.

Clay Aiken and Rubben Studdard both have contracts and yes it was rigged

Clay Aiken was robbed because he was definitely more talented, but honestly both of the guys sputtered down the stretch badly. Ruben was out of breath on stage and clearly needs to lose about 100 pounds before he can sing several songs a night. He also needs to quit smoking the wacky tabacky. Clay kicked so much ass early in the competition that he really didn\'t put forth his best effort over the final two nights. If I had a vote, Kimberly Locke is your American Idol. She blew away both the guys in the final 3.

The voting is totally bogus. I don\'t believe for ONE MINUTE that it was that close in the final 3 (they reported Kimberly Locke at ~31% to Ruben/Clay\'s ~33/35%) except that they wanted more votes and more text messages for their sponsor AT&T to make money off of. In the finale, they made it seem closer than it was to give the impression that both of them were equals. In essence, they couldn\'t let the better guy (that\'d be Clay) win and have a vote counting scandal on their hands, so they fudged the numbers to show him getting closer than he did. Get it?

I\'ve heard that Paula \"you were great!\" Abdul is not returning for AI3 and Simon Cowell might go behind the scenes. What they really need to do is give the guest judge the first word, then Simon, then Randy and leave it at that.
