Joe Millionaire butler Paul C. Hogan guest stars on One Life to Live
Until Joe Millionaire II comes out, which the network says it will, there is not much to report other than than Paul C. Hogan appearing on the soap opera One Life to Live. I suppose he added the C to avoid being confused with the "other" Paul Hogan, sort of like Temptation Island/Test the Nation/Russian Roulette/whatever new dorky show like Anything for Love is on the air host Mark L. Wahlberg does to avoid Markie Mark comparisons.
At any rate, I do watch OLTL and I'm damn hip for calling it by the acronym like they do in Soap Digest. The part played by Paul was naturally the butler and it was pretty painful at times to watch him act. I'm thinking they had quite a few takes on Joe Millionaire getting him to spit out his lines even without having to interact with other actors. His role as Asa Buchanan's temporary butler while Nigel and Rene pretend to be getting married was one of those things that was like "Hey, this is funny" followed quickly by "This guy can't deliver a line".
