Be afraid.

PoliticThis commentary suggests that the Cancer-in-Chief is a bad, bad man. For the life of me, I don't know why his approval ratings are still high. Is it that people like not having a job? That they like having their civil liberties infringed upon? That they desparately want to line up behind some leader, any leader, because they're scared after 9/11 and the propaganda-generated threat of WbS? What has Shrub done that they like?

Perhaps it's just laziness. It's easier to delegate all thinking and decision making about your own welfare to the gubmint. But isn't that supposed to be a Democratic theme, not a Republican one? Are the Demo's so impotent that they can't impeach a guy who's lied about war, lied about threats, lied about lying (when his predecessor was impeached for lying about blowjobs?) "Now I feel a different fear. We have the illusion of freedom, nothing more. To believe that the Bush administration has our best interests at heart is to enable their lies and further their agenda of "full spectrum dominance", as the administration-heavy members of the Project for the New American Century describe their ultimate goals. There was another time when citizens refused to see the encroaching darkness, instead turning their eyes to meaningless scandals and deceptive propaganda. That time was 1939 Germany, and the horror unleashed with the assistance of the deceived, compliant German populace still causes nightmares sixty years later."
