The comedy is that I'm serious
Listening to the radio, this morning, I heard the latest
single from Jason Mraz's album, "You and I Both". It's lyrically complex, vocally interesting, generally quite good. Oh, sure, his first song from the album, "Remedy", is a hit. But I can't figure out how this second song made it on the radio. I like it. But
it makes me think of Eddie Murphy complaining "you need a hook". It just lacks a pop hook. I like it. You should buy it. But this ain't no Backstreet Boys.
Subtlety is not one of my strengths
