Vote Dat Phan. He’s the little Vietnamese joke train that could. Thus far he has overwhelmed the vicious comic alliance to knock off Dave Mordal (70% to 30%) and now he has sent Geoff Brown (77% to 23%) packing. At this point only 5 comedians remain, and the viewing audience will vote American Idol style. I have to say I was glad to see Dave Mordal smoke Sean Kent (73% to 27%) in the first showdown. Dave was funny, Sean is a chump and it’s as simple as that. The next throw down was Tere Joyce getting wasted by Cory Kahaney (80% to 20%). Tere is a clown with blond spikes, clearly inferior to Cory. The other match was kind of a drag. Ralphie May walked over Rob Cantrell (85% to 15%) but I’ve soured on Ralphie’s routine and Rob seems like a genuinely good guy.

The alliance has gotten Rich Vos and Tess Drake this far without having to take the stage. Rich has worked 20 years in the business and I’ve never heard of him. That speaks volumes. Tess is overconfident for no reason. Hopefully viewers will smoke her out. Cory has winning potential, while Ralphie hopes to be the next fat comic sensation. I’m still pulling for Dat Phan and hopefully you will too. He has great energy, and has already overcome the dark evil alliance twice. So vote for him if you know what’s good for you, get it? I’m done for now.
