Sci & TechAnd, hoo-boy, does Microsoft have a terrible record on information security. I mean, average of 5 seconds to crack a Windows password?! I sooooo wish Apple would release OS X for clones (so I could get, for example, an AMD chip and run OS X on it...) I mean, I love the interface. I like the FreeBSD core (even though folks smarter than me seem to object to the Mach kernel). And I'm already using StarOffice, so...

Preliminary court decisions suggest that Intertrust may be right. Microsoft may have infringed on some of their rights with nearly every piece of MS software.
