A Canadian eccentric claims to have solved the mystery of how the rocks were moved. I can't figure out, from the text, what they're saying, but I thought the prevailing theory was that rocks were loaded onto round logs, and the logs were used as wheels, as the rocks were pulled. As one log came out the back, it was put up on the front.
