He’s fat enough to take on sumo wrestlers and I have to admit that I am not exactly his biggest supporter. Throw all that out the window because during his five minute act Ralphie May threw out, “Shame on you Michael Moore. You can’t fit your chunky ass in an electric car”. Classic rip. He spent his time applauding America for going to a “war for oil” so he doesn’t have to pay high gas prices. However, he wasn’t nearly the funniest comic of the night and I would be surprised if he won it all. Dat Phan did his usual Vietnamese mother jokes, and was pretty good at providing new material after winning a pair of head to head matches in the comedy warehouse. Tess had a horrible routine centered on her “past as a stripper” and couldn’t stop laughing at her own bad jokes. She sucks, period. Rich Vos took the stage and tore it up like the seasoned professional that he is. Now I’m wondering why I’ve never heard of this guy. Cory Kahaney delivered a pretty good set to close out the show, but I’m not sure it was enough to give her top billing.

Rating them on their five minute performances I would say Rich, Cory, Dat, Ralphie, Tess in that order. Certainly Dat and Ralphie could garner more internet and call in votes because they are likable. I’m betting on Rich Vos, but pulling for Dat Phan because he needs it more.
