Gateway sucks

Sci & TechGateway behaved unethically when I dealt with them for a previous job. But I thought that some readers (Sarcasmo and zen8tao, at least) would be interested to know they're coming out with a computer focused on gaming. Of course, I think others have been specializing in gaming systems for a while, and probably doing a better job of it.

I haven't really been pleased with the Gateway machines I have used.

Plus, I custom designed my machine for gaming, and I think my specs are better than theirs. You should SEE Morrowind on my box. Oh yes.

Plasma screens, DVD players, audio devices, gaming PCs, PDAs etc Gateway is trying to become Sony/Samsung will be an interesting transition, maybe they should merge with Apple who also seems to be starting to move in a similar direction.

The long predicted convergence of consumer electronics and PC industry seems to be finally taking off with the imaging area (Kodak/Canon versus Sony/HP), media management (PVR, MP3 players, Wi-fi integration into TVs and Stereos) leading the way should be interesting.

I recently used to work at gateway and the new gaming system is the 700 series and it sucks big time. It is frozen all the time at work. The specs don't mean crap what matter is that it works properly and let me tell you what a wast of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
