Will Trista Rehn ever go away? When she closed out The Bachelorette by choosing Ryan Sutter over Charlie Maher it turned out to be only the beginning for one of the most annoying, phony people ever on reality TV. She is still in a relationship with Ryan but while she won’t get married on Oprah Winfrey it looks like she will get married on some sort of ABC reality TV show. With Bachelor 4 starting this week we can expect her to guest star and give advice to Bob Guiney who she rejected on her edition of the show. This wasn’t enough, apparently. After all this crap, she made us all suffer through a painful Miss America “prediction” party. Do we really want to see her, a couple of other guys named Ryan, Ryan’s brother and whoever else those other people are sit around with champagne glasses and say “Uh, I like Miss Hawaii”. What is ABC thinking? The incredible part is that an otherwise decent broadcast was marred by incessantly promoting it entering each commercial break. She’s not the only one who won’t go away because Charlie Maher is now a correspondent on the entertainment television show Extra. Why? Why? Why? Someone tell me where all the talent has gone that they need to hire a reality TV reject. I’m done for now, and I wish both of them were too.
