PoliticFinally, some conservatives who recognize that Bush is destroying everything they claim to stand for. Bush isn't liberal. He isn't conservative. He's stupid and/or evil. And he hates the U.S. Luckily, some conservatives are finally figuring this out...

Bush appears to be an unusual combination, a social conservative (pro business/anti-environment, strict constructionist judges, faith-based charities, private school vouchers, pro defense, pro prison time, "family values"), fiscal liberal (deficit spending, unfunded mandates, big government) mixed with a few fascist tendancies (media control, executive branch secracy/power grab, fear mongering) thrown in for good measure. I guess that must be what a compassionate conservative is?

We (the GOP) want smaller government, and less of a babysitter government, unless it's two dudes who want to have sex with one another, or someone who wants to have an abortion, or if you look like a terrorist to one of us, or ...well, darn it, you just gotta spend money to keep the people thinking correctly. (Bush suddenly seems more like Mussolini than Roosevelt.)
