Check out what that
white dude is laying down. The Berklee School of Music is teaching classes in hip-hop deejaying, or scratching. This, of course, misses the point about hip-hop. Hip hop culture is all about image and wealth. Hip hop stars don't want 24" wheels because they're better looking or better performing. They want them because they're a more explicit way of showing how wealthy they are. So, while there are true hip-hop artists out there, I suspect the intersection between hip-hop artistry and hip-hop commercial success is pretty slim. Word!
