Latoya London and Amy Adams are moving on to American Idol 3 finals from third group

EntertainmentA decisively better group of singers took the stage in this round of the competition and the result was judge's choice to advance Leah Labelle winding up on the sidelines. The 17 year old from Seattle was pretty good singing "I have nothing" by Whitney Houston, but I think America got it right. Latoya London from Oakland (near my neck of the woods) was pretty damn good doing "All by myself". That song always makes me think of the Friends episode where Ross longs for the good days with his monkey Marcel. At any rate, it was good for an amazing 32.3% of the vote.

Amy Adams, however, was in my opinion the best of the night and the best of the competition thus far. She belted out "I'm your lady" and sounded like a pro. This girl is going to the top 5 and probably Latoya London is going to join her. Leah Labelle can look forward to the wild card show where 4 spots will be available to a group comprised of the 20 who did not advance from the four groups.

Just to summarize, with only one group left the finals are made up of 5 girls and just 1 fella. At the very least John Stevens should make it from group 4, but obviously this is going to be a girls dominated finals.
