Garry Trudeau is a genius. And the simultaneous removal of two integral parts of the character, B.D., today blows me away. (For those who don't read Doonesbury regularly, the guy has worn a helmet---frequently a football helmet---for at least the 15 years I've read the comic, 100% of the time. And he used to have two legs. War is hell, indeed.)
