Trish Schneider rejected by Jesse Palmer on Bachelor 5, but is she really done?
On a show that started with bachelor Jesse Palmer calling out wrong final name in the opener, I wasn't expecting much. Since then his "spy" thing with friend Jenny was pretty drab. All she really did was tell him to stay away from Trish Schneider. Still, Trish made it to the final 4 much to the chagrin of the blonde trio alongside her. Then came last night. Jesse kissed Trish moments (in TV time) before the rose ceremony, then failed to give her a rose saying they weren't meant to be married. Previews for this week show Trish barging in on Mandy Jaye's overnight date and offering Jesse a room key. I don't think she is inviting him to a game of Scrabble. To this point Jesse has been pretty predictable. When he cut the field to 10 it was very obvious that the first 5 were the ones he was interested in. The following week four of those five made the final 6. This week I thought the beauty pageant stuff might steer him from MJ and the gun show would definitely drive him away from Tara. If not that, the age (21) of Jessica would surely point him in another direction, right? Now I'm really confused.
What I loved the most was Trish's appearance on Good Morning America when clueless interviewer Charles Gibson asked her at what point during the speech did she know Jesse was rejected her. Uh, that would be five minutes prior dummy when he gave the other 3 girls roses! Trish was pretty gracious in letting him off the hook. I guess Charles couldn't spare the 40 minutes it would have taken to watch the episode prior to interviewing her. Nice work.
