Simon Cowell pointed out that Latoya London is in another league, and she definitely is. He included Fantasia Barrino in that league, which is a mistake. Fantasia has stunk for weeks and quite frankly all four of the others were horrible last night. Latoya meanwhile was stellar.

George Huff was a great story as he filled in for the dummy from Livermore, California who shall remain nameless after he got busted for drunk driving. Then he made the final 32, final 12 and made it all the way to 5th. He really tailed off, however, like a lot of these contestants. I feel like AI2's group got very strong and produced a trio of really strong singers in Clay, Kimberley and Ruben (in that order). I don't know if this bunch will produce as many "artists" who put out albums. We'll see, but they are definitely hurt by the material that is forced upon them.
