I suppose Tara knew it was coming as she tried to take charge, asking Jesse not to speak. She wishes he hadn't because when he did it was to tell her he had fallen in love with Huntington Beach law student Tara Bowlin. Karma is a bugger Tara. You might recall that she was the one who said Jesse was "guaranteed a good girl" when he ditched the controversial Trish. Still, Jessica got no engagement, no promise ring, just a plane ticket to New York. Ooh, how romantic. Tara also whined about his "inappropriate" actions, leaving viewers to wonder if he had pulled an Alex. In season 1 Alex bagged Trista before selecting Amanda. I think Trista wound up okay. Tara backed off in the post show special, and I guess we'll never know, but if I was a betting man (based on her reaction to Trish prodding her) I would say they did the deed.

Picture this season without Trish and tell me the producers aren't grateful for what she brought to the stale format. The bachelorettes were otherwise unspectacular and I don't think anyone really cared whether it was Jessica or Tara in the end.
