You might remember Matthew Metzger as the guy who almost made the American Idol 3 finals but now he has a different job. Last week he finally debuted as rich kid Duke Buchanan and became the second former Idol entrant to dip into the acting pool. Season 1's Tamyra Gray had a part on Boston Public.

I haven't seen enough to really judge his acting chops, but something tells me it won't be long before they have him behind the microphone. The show has a history of featuring music so he fits into that.
