Two Things:

(1) My friend's little brother once chased me down the street weilding a hatchet his parents had left lying around on the front porch. He was about 4, and stark naked at the time.

(2) I am wondering if this machete thing is an epidemic. I was listening to the Liberterian presidential candidate on NPR the other day, and as part of his reasoning for having guns in the home, he if a woman who wanted to protect her children from danger would be willing to pick up a gun if a "bloody machete wielding maniac" broke into her home.

At the time I just wondered if Libertarians all had a deep-seeded fear of Jason Vorhees. Now I know it's just a fear of children.
