Apparently, our Star Wars missile defense system doesn't work worth a damn. It's staggering to me that we continue to spend $billions, annually, on this program that will never work. Oh, the weather thing, they'll get past that (I'm surprised that's still a problem.) But they'll never be able to build a system that's not easily led astray by decoys, etc.

On the other hand, it is pretty accepted as a way to pay back campaign financiers from the Defense industry.
