A radio ad for the SF Opera this morning (Cosi Fan Tutte, for what it's worth) mentioned that it would be performed in Italian, with English subtitles.

Have they hired Uri Geller, or how do they subtitle a live performance? (I mean, theoretically, they could offer translations projected on a screen, but they wouldn't be *below* the performance, would they?)
