I don't remember why I bookmarked this, but it is interesting. "A sardonic German teenager told me what she thought the phrase "the American dream" meant: "I assume it means watching Baywatch twenty-four hours a day.""

Interesting...this is not at all what I expected a foreigner to say about the U.S. during "The W Years."  It's wrong in a very different way than I expected.
