Top 10 NFL players of the decade

This is all off the top of my head, so take it with a grain of salt. If I do it right, norcalfella may give you his more thoughtful list.
(I wrote it up last night, but managed to lose it...so I'm writing more concisely/impatiently, this morning.)
- LaDainian Tomlinson - Seeing him out-accellerate track stars, stiff arm 250 LB's to the ground, and then change direction to juke a guy out of his shoes...in his prime, he was in a different league. I don't know how many people realize that.
- Peyton Manning - Fastest read of the field of any QB. And then he delievers the ball exactly how he needs to.
- Brett Favre - I wish he weren't playing, anymore, although it did get me to listen to what an encouraging guy he is. Also, the master of "making something from nothing."
- Marvin Harrison - So in synch with Manning, and so subtly talented at causing defenders to miss, that it was deceptive how good he was.
- Michael Strahan - Mr. gap tooth scares me, and I'm not even on the field.
- Tony Gonzalez - Not only the best TE of the decade, but one who became a pesce-vegetarian at the end. (Which makes me happy.)
- Brian Urlacher - May not be the player Ray Lewis is, but is twice the leader.
- Shane Lechler - What is a punter doing here? Being the best punter for most seasons of the decade. If you don't think that matters, look at how the ball ends up positioned.
- Champ Bailey - Very effective for a little guy.
- Larry Fitzgerald - I feel bad about putting him here...the next few years will tell whether I was overly optimistic, or prescient.
Notably absent:
- Randy Moss: If he played every game as well as he could have, he'd be up there with LaDanian (who I can't call LT....just can't.)
- Terrell Owens: Impressive, but a nutcase.
- Tom Brady: Am I nuts? I think he was surrounded by a team, and on a lesser team wouldn't even be mentioned.
- Warren Sapp: Jerk.
- Ty Law: It's been too long, and I've forgotten how many seasons he was a stud for.
- Edgerrin James: Was very good. But I could have run 1 yard behind that OL.
- Kurt Warner: Fluke.
Subtlety is not one of my strengths
