American Idol expose threatens to air show’s dirty laundry while American Idol 4 finals roll on

EntertainmentLet me get this out of the way. Paula Abdul is on drugs and has sex with contestants. Simon Cowell is mean spirited and makes a lot of money. Randy Jackson had his stomach stapled. Some of the contestants were gay and others starred in porn or were arrested for things like drunk driving, beating up girls and getting in bar fights. Now you don’t have watch and can stick to the action on the stage. Anthony Fedorov absolutely saved himself from elimination this week with a Celine Dion tune “I Surrender” and we gave him his highest score since the opening week of the male semifinals. We had differing opinions on Constantine Maroulis, who sang Nickelback’s “To Remind Me” which I thought was a solid performance and my other half didn’t like because she felt it was a poor rendition. The net result is he won’t be anywhere near the bottom. Bo Bice looked as if he just stepped out of a bad Tarantino movie and while he has been pretty good lately he will have to step it up to keep his butt of the elimination fire.

Carrie Underwood struggled a bit this week with a Martina McBride song and I believe she is sick which would explain it. With so many southern voters behind her she should be able to weather the storm though. Vonzell Solomon took on Christina Aguilera’s “I Turn to You” and was just ordinary which doesn’t cut it in the final 6. Scott Savol seems ready to mercifully exit as this season’s party guest who stuck around way too long after he closed the show with another dismal outing.

WHO’S OUT? With Anthony singing his way out of elimination and maybe the bottom 3, the path is cleared for Simon’s projection that Scott will go home about six weeks after he should have. To be honest I think everyone is subject to being in the bottom this week, but the Carrie and Constantine voting public won’t have it. I think Anthony is the first safe and and Vonzell sweats out elimination even with the entire black vote backing her. Scott’s black too but it won’t help him. He’s not black? Oh that’s right he just acts that way.

Constantine Maroulis is the latest Idol screwed over by the voting

Scott Savol apparently has the support of a misguided website (and their 750,000+ visitors) which put him not only out of the bottom three for a fourth straight time but now in the top three. It also set the stage for the annual shocker elimination. This time it was Constantine Maroulis who can join Tamyra Gray (season 1) and LaToya London (season 3) in the ring of should have been finalists.

His sudden ouster was another reason they should change to my voting scheme where the bottom 3 are subjected to a second vote with voters choosing who to vote OUT among those three. This is the second time a contestant has been ousted after having made no prior appearances in the bottom 3 (Nikko Smith was the other) while others have been there multiple times. Scott (3 bottom threes) Anthony (3) and Vonzell (2) wouldn't stand a chance against Constantine in voting for who was the WORST singer.

After Bo Bice, the only other competent singer, had his ugly past dredged up today with cocaine possession your new American Idol is officially Carrie Underwood who should have appeared on Nashville Star for crying out loud.

Who else will win? Anthony? Come on people, the guy doesn't have a clue how to pick songs and is mediocre at best. Vonzell? Maybe, but isn't she a slightly less ugly and more inconsistent version of Fantasia? Bo? Just say no to Bo, and drugs. Scott? Can they carry the fat man all the way? I doubt it. This is getting to be like Survivor, where the weak make it to the end. What a joke.

I expect the ratings to dive this week...
