Kendra Todd rolls past Tana Goertz to win Apprentice 3, Martha Stewart version due in the fall
The gimmick of book smarts vs. street smarts didn't do a lot for this show I have to say. That's because the tasks weren't designed to emphasize the difference between having a higher education. In the end, we were left with a cat fight between a girl whose real estate background seemed tailor made for Trump (Kendra) and another who was only a few credits away from actually graduating college (Tana). In other words, we didn't see the true rags to riches story unfold this season. We also never really found out how the high school grads made their big bucks and became successful. The finish was just as poor as the season overall with Tana ripping her own team and being obnoxious throughout the final task. Kendra didn't need the help and this was an even easier choice than last year when Kelly beat Jennifer.
Speaking of that, reportedly Kelly was unruly on a recent flight. A stewardess says he got drunk and spouted off asking her if she knew who he was. According to Trump it was just another case of Newsweek screwing up a story.
Later this year jail bird Martha Stewart will get her version of this show and the it is set to air on Wednesday nights with the fourth edition the following evening. I guess they are counting on this show to carry them out of the gutter. Pretty soon WB and UPN are going to be catching up to them...
