Have you ever shown up to a store just as it is closing in the hopes that either the doors or still open or a clerk will feel sorry for you and stay open? I think we all have, and that's pretty much what happened to Oprah Winfrey as far as I'm concerned. She wants it to look like something different and for us to believe that she was snubbed for being black. Huh? What you really mean Oprah is that you're pissed off that since you are mega rich and famous your real gripe is that Hermes didn't fall all over themselves for you, right?

If I showed up to Hermes at exactly the same time, would I have been treated the same way? You bet your ass I would have. Would Tom Cruise be treated the same way? No way in hell. That's where the rubber meets the road for Oprah. It's not that she's black, it's that her Q isn't high enough to get her the special treatment.

I have to say, I'm getting sick of her antics and for my money she can move to Aruba with her pseudo boyfriend and annoying buddy Gayle King. For crying out loud, this incident happened in France and for the record the store was already CLOSED whether people inside were still finishing up their shopping or not. I was in a store recently and was rushed out 5 minutes after closing time. It must have been because I'm a white dude.
