My sister and b-i-l flew in from CO, and we picked up Mom and headed over to M&D's house for Thanksgiving.  Fun time had by all, blah-blah-blah.
On the way home, we passed through Davis, and Gwen suggested we go to Sudwerk for lunch.  (Yeah, yeah, I know...what made them say it was hu:bsch, rather than scho:n?  But that's not the point of this story.) Point is, I ordered a veggie burger.   (Gwen ordered a cheeseburger.  Zachary:   Panko-crusted chicken strips.)

Onion rings...good.
French Fries...great.
Veggie Burger...ooohhhh, hold on, Gwen, let me compare my burger to yours, visually.  Yup, they're different.  But seriously, this burger tastes more like meat than any veggie burger I've ever had!  I mean, it would fool people.  Dedicated meat eaters (who might complain it wasn't juicy enough, but that's about it.)

I called the waitress over, and asked whether they were a house-recipe, or whether it was a brand I could purchase.  House recipe.

Nonetheless, I'm going to see what I can do to get the recipe (or encourage them to get into the frozen food biz.)
