Ramble On

Other Stuff

I've hiked 10's of trails, hundreds of times in Yosemite.  It's an outrageous place.

In my younger days, I rode a bike from the East Bay area, all the way out to Escalon (the last town on Highway 120, before the switchbacks take you up toward Yosemite.)

And I've always said, the best way to learn a place is on foot.

But I've got NOTHING on this couple.

Tiger Woods, Jesse James, David Boreanaz, and other Cheaters

Other Stuff

When the news reports were full of stories about Tiger Woods' infidelities and Jesse James' infidelities, my wife asked me “why do men cheat?” [Maybe it was motivated by determining if she had a chance with David Boreanaz, who was also caught cheating at the time. But it was an interesting question.] A few weeks later, I had a discussion with zen8tao, applying Dungeons and Dragons “character alignments” to real life personalities to see if there's a pattern to who we befriend.

Over there ------->

on the right, there's the daily stats information.  Lately, it's been filled up by the myriad *.google.* searches.  I don't have the time to figure out how to summarize all referrers as, simply, "Google".  And, also, It's clear that Google has won the search wars, for now.  Furthermore, the only search from a specific domain listed, is the first one, which is a bit misleading.

I'd *like* for it to summarize all of these as Google.

I'd like for all of the various Facebook referrals to be summarized as Facebook.  And maybe I'll figure that out, later.

But for now, I've disabled the daily view of referrals from Google (in the hope that we get more interesting referrals over there).  I'm still collecting the stats...just not displaying them.

Also, buy some stuff from the Amazon search bar on the left, and click on ads of interest, on the right.  Have a nice day.
